After collaborating professionally for several years, Alyssia and Sherry recognized an opportunity to combine their expertise to address the significant demand for Primary Care and Urgent Care services. They knew they could successfully fill this need with their unique blend of knowledge and their commitment to patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs of each individual.


Our CEO and Practice Manager, Sherry Hensley, brings over 20 years of healthcare experience with 15 years in Practice Management. She has several healthcare degrees and certifications with a strong foundation in emergency medicine, urgent care, nursing, and education/teaching.Sherry is not only our Practice Manager but also fills our clinical lead position at Village Medical and has always gone above and beyond to ensure the best care for her patients. She has three children and four grandchildren (yes, we said grandchildren!) who she adores. She enjoys hiking mountain trails, horseback riding, traveling, and the Green Bay Packers! She is very passionate about being a court-appointed GAL advocate for abused and neglected children and volunteers for NCADV at local Domestic Violence Shelters.

Alyssia Lloyd, our Family Nurse Practitioner hails from upstate New York with over 20 years of service in healthcare. She received her Masters Degree from the State University of New York in Utica, NY and is a highly esteemed Nurse Practitioner in the healthcare community for the past 12 years. Having relocated to North Carolina with her husband and two children in 2020, she enjoys camping, the ocean, and loves exploring our beautiful North Carolina. Alyssia is honest and has a strong work ethic. She will pitch in to help without hesitation…scan an insurance card, register a patient….whatever it takes to be helpful. Alyssia has made lasting impressions on her patients as they describe the attributes that stood out to them during their visit: “extraordinarily kind”, “compassionate”, and “respectful”.
